Rocco Forte Hotels is Europe's Leading Luxury Hotel Brand
The Rocco Forte Collection was voted Europe's Leading Luxury Hotel Brand at the 12th Annual World Travel Awards, held at The Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden yesterday (Sunday, 13 November 2005).
A total of 176,000 travel professionals, including 110,000 travel agents, from over 200 countries voted in this year’s campaign, indicating the high esteem in which The Rocco Forte Collection is held by its peers. It is also proof that Sir Rocco is well on his way to creating a collection of luxury hotels covering all the key cities in Europe, which has always been his stated aim. Each hotel is linked by the same attention to stylish design, comfort and dedication to providing exceptional levels of personalised service.
In addition, three individual hotels in the collection were recognised at the awards ceremony. Hotel Astoria in St. Petersburg was named Russia's Leading Hotel, while The Balmoral in Edinburgh took the prize for Scotland's Leading Hotel and The St David's Hotel & Spa in Cardiff grabbed two gongs: Wales's Leading Hotel and Wales's Leading Spa Resort.
