Key Appointments Made at Rocco Forte's The Augustine
The Rocco Forte Collection has appointed a General Manager and a Director of Sales and Marketing at its new hotel The Augustine, opening in Prague in January 2009.
Hennin Matthiesen will head up the team as General Manager, bringing with him invaluable experience from Hotel Adlon Kempinksi in Berlin and most recently, Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry…
Tanja Pijfers will join as Director of Sales & Marketing for what will be her third hotel opening; Tanja has already overseen the successful launches of Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest and Four Seasons Hotel Caracas in Venezuela. As well as extensive market knowledge of leisure and group business in Europe and North America, Tanja also has a good knowledge of the spa market, something which has a lot of potential in Prague.
